CEMA Arts Centre 30th Celebrations

Back Up Next

The Gala Concert on Sunday afternoon was the highpoint of the CEMA Arts Centre 30th Anniversary Celebrations. It came directly after a light luncheon of soup and sandwiches, and speeches featuring the awarding of Life Membership to Don Chalmers in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the organisation.

The concert, (an old-time music-hall afternoon), was organised by Bev Martin and June Roberts. It featured performances by all the CEMA groups that use the Arts Centre and was splendidly MCed by Bill Collett: Mayor of the Glenelg Shire and long-time member of the Drama Group.

This concert was made possible by the work of many, thank you all for your contribution.
